You will need:
Fresh basil leaves
White wine vinegar
How to make Basil flavoured vinegar:
To make basil vinegar, pick fresh basil leaves before the plant starts to flower. Allow 2 oz of fresh basil leaves to every pint of white wine vinegar.
Wash the basil leaves, put them in a bowl and cover with the vinegar. Cover and leave to stand for approximately two weeks. Strain the infused vinegar and bottle. Store in a cool, dry place
